You may remember the restoration of Rusty late last year, it was found in a shed in South Wales and was a mess. and after........ In the same shed was this pile of bits which are even worse. It was in bits and a complete wreck with lots of parts missing. It is a June 1976 Red MK II but it has been painted an orange colour at some stage and the paint job was rubbish with the red paint still underneath. The decals are some sort of stickey backed labels, the front forks are slightly bent. Today I have rebuilt this bike and it is to be used by the owner's wife when they do the Milton Keynes Ride on 3rd March. The rest of the bits will be done on Wednesday. The total cost of rebuilding this bike has been nothing as all the bits are original to the bike except the front tyre. This bike hasn't been used or even in one piece for over 20 years, After the MK Ride about it will be demolished and restored properly but for now its another Chopper back in service.
