Hi folks. Had a few Raleigh Grifters. First one I found in a hedge. The next I got at an auction, was scabby and had Burner steel wheels. I did a lot of work on that. Then I got a Grifter XL at the auction, for £2. I fixed the mudguard stay. It was a good bike. But I had a lot of bikes then. So sold it at enormous profit. £20. The Grifter I have now. I got at the scrap yard. I seen a front wheel in a puddle, hey that's a Grifter wheel. I looked at the pile of metal beside it. A Grifter frame. I couldn't find the rear wheel. So stripped the Bernardi mags off a Raliegh Wildcat that was there too. So I could push it home. No electronic panel on the Wildcat tho. That's it as it was when I got it home. I had trouble with the mags. So fitted the alloys off an Apollo XC20. Ive done some work on it. trying to get a different set of cranks on it.
